Bennington County has five covered bridges - three in Bennington and two in Arlington. They are all unique with special stories.
Silk Road Bridge is located off 67A across from Bennington College and spans the Walloomsac River. The bridge was built around 1840 and its original name was the Locust Grove Bridge.
