We lived in Bennington and Shaftsbury for 32 years. The Village Chocolate Shoppe was one of those places you have no idea how much you'll miss until you no longer have access to the Main Street icon. Now, for special occasions, I have to order their chocolates rather than making a quick pick-up run. Oh my gosh, their chocolates are sooo worth waiting for that box to arrive! :-)
